MBM's First Office

MBM's first office was started in a single room in the basement of a hair salon located on West Liberty Avenue by founders and brothers Danny and Harry Brown. Their first office employee was their mother, Irene Brown who worked for MBM until she was 92. MBM's first job was installing doors for $560. MBM’s first "large" contract was to renovate an Isaly's in New Kensington for $15,000.

First Healthcare Project

In 1989, MBM was awarded our first healthcare projects at Shadyside Hospital and then St. Clair Hospital. These were the first of many healthcare projects that MBM would build.

Move to Homestead

MBM grew and moved into a vacant Masonic Temple in Homestead. We slowly renovated several floors of the building and later that year were able to move our offices, initially to the first floor and then to the second foor and conducted business there for 14 years.

Move to Baldwin

In 2004, MBM renovated a dilapidated metal building in Baldwin Borough, constructed an addition for offices and warehouse storage, and moved our offices once again. MBM continues to renovate and expand within the Baldwin location.

Second Generation

MBM transitioned to a second generation company. The "MBM" family including Matt, Bryan, and Missy, along with Nate, Jake and Jess now run the business while Danny remains involved.
